The name Tellus goes back to Tellus (Latin: Earth), the deity of the mother earth in Roman mythology. Tellus stands for everything that arises from the earth. Protecting, preserving and using their valuable but finite resources responsibly is firmly rooted in our corporate DNA.
That’s why we at Tellus Networks have made it our mission to make networking products usable for longer with valuable IT remarketing and to return them back to the economic cycle. Our goal is to permanently invest a large part of our income in our own ecological environmental as well as renewable energy projects.
In order to maintain our quality standards for these projects, a non-profit GmbH (gGmbH) named Tellus Nature was founded in 2023 as a sister company of Tellus Networks GmbH. This gGmbH fulfills the sustainable goal of the Tellus Networks company philosophy through its diverse environmental initiatives – including the creation of transparent and regionally produced CO2 certificates, which can be personalized to Tellus Networks GmbH customers and subsequently being used within their company-internal carbon foodprint reduction plans.
We love transparency, complete transparency. Not only in what we do or how we do it, but especially in numbers, data and facts. After all, only complete transparency creates trust. That’s why we will present in detail here on our website every year following our annual financial statements and disclose how much of our income from Tellus Networks GmbH went to other non-profit companies. Since Tellus Nature gGmbH was founded in 2023, this information can only be provided here by ~mid-end of 2024.
