Circular IT and IT re-marketing describe the reuse of used hardware for the purpose of protecting the environment, resources and budget. An essential part of Tellus Networks Circular IT is so-called refurbishment.
Refurbishment means: completely overhauling devices in order to bring them as close as possible to their original new condition. In addition to the visual and cosmetic overhaul, this includes a technical inspection for defects, impending failures or general signs of aging and wear. All components sold by Tellus Networks are technically tested and repaired if necessary. Here you get an overview of the different product classifications.
The Tellus Refurbished seal guarantees the highest quality for the highest demands on the respective hardware. Our customers will not notice any technical differences compared to new goods – neither in terms of availability, functionality and reliability nor in the (B2B) warranty case. Yes, all hardware components we sell include the Tellus Networks B2B 1-year warranty. The only exceptions to this are explicitly marked goods, such as Components sold as “defective”.
Yes, all components that we actively advertise with inventory displays in the online shop or other platforms are available in our warehouse and are shipped on working days, often on the same day, but at the latest on the next working day. If a product is not available, please feel free to contact us for a non-binding offer including delivery times:
Most components can be procured at short notice via our global dealer and broker network within two to ten working days. The goods are then extensively inspected and tested by us before they are forwarded to the customer. If, in exceptional cases, the goods are not available at short notice, we will of course inform you in good time.
If you have ordered goods from our stock, they will usually be dispatched on the same day, but no later than the following working day. The delivery times of our shipping service providers within Germany and Europe are one to three working days. Outside the EU, shipping can take up to eight working days. Bookable express shipping shortens delivery times to one to four working days – to almost all countries.
We guarantee certified, reliable and secure deletion of all data from all devices. Separate proof of deletion is available at any time.
The right to the Tellus Networks 1-year B2B guarantee no longer applies:
– In case of an accident
– In the event of natural forces
– If used or handled improperly
– In case of improper installation or configuration
– In the event that changes have been made to the device.
– In case of power supply fluctuations such as: lightning, overvoltage/incorrect voltages etc.
– If the device was explicitly sold as untested, without warranty or defective
We try to make IT as a whole as sustainable as possible. At the end of a life cycle, this also includes the disposal of devices that are irreparably defective or devices that are simply no longer usable due to their age. The devices that are basically still usable but defective become an important component for the refurbishment process. Just because a small part of the device has a specific defect does not mean it is completely worthless. After extensive testing, the parts that still work become spare parts for other devices. This is how we turn multiple defects into functioning entire devices again with our B2B guarantee and advance exchange service.
Hardware that ultimately needs to be recycled is received by our certified partners and the raw materials are systematically separated from each other. This means that a large proportion of the materials used can be reused in the production of new devices.
Our RMA process:
– Contact us with a description of the error, including the order or invoice number
– Creating an RMA number and sending the return label to the buyer.
– Immediate replacement delivery from our inventory, alternatively procurement via suppliers.
– If we are unable to provide a replacement device or an adequate repair, we will refund the full purchase price.
– We aim for a (worldwide) replacement delivery within 1-5 days. If the replacement product is not in stock, delivery may take a few days longer. We will keep you informed about the status at all times!
– You send the defective product back to us.
